sincerely hope not, facing an induction.  What should you do?  I mean we all know that good things come to those Benefits of Prenatal Massagewho wait; but, waiting is tough and you wish you could DO SOMETHING.  We have an answer for you.  The Sage certified prenatal therapists have methods to encourage your body along and to relieve the stress of waiting.

The burning question from you now probably is … can massage really get this baby out?  The short answer is:  there are no guarantees.  However, recent research shows certain acupressure points can support cervical ripening and shorten the time between your “due date” and the actual time of delivery.

In the session, we will use the BodyCushion system and lots of pillows to make you comfortable, yummy Swedish, myofascial as well as deep tissue strokes where required and appropriate.  We will also use specific acupressure (shiatsu) points to encourage the energy to “come down”.  You’ll learn the points as you go along and you or your partner will be able to use them at home.  And it IS important to continue doing the points at home in order to make progress.

No induction necessary, Thank God.I was so relaxed after the massage and I had my husband press on the points you showed me on my legs and feet and hands.
