Sage Spa Resilience Stretching
This modern stretching system evolved from instinctive, unconscious behaviors such as stretching the limbs while yawning to ease discomfort or such as the brief athletic-type stretching you do before a workout. Over time, our knowledge has grown far beyond that. The key difference is in the connection to your breath. In the Resilience Stretching Session the therapist extends a part of your body slowly, without strain, in synchronization with your breath. When full muscular extension has been reached on your exhale, the position is held for a length of time then slowly released before moving on to the next stretch. The process is meditative. It’s like a yoga that someone does for you while you just lie there in relaxed awareness. It’s like a big “Ommmmmm.” You can do the session by itself or add it on to your regular massage session for an even more awesome treatment. Add this session on to any massage, 30 Minute Session 74
